| Zusammenfassung: | The realization of this current research proposes the creation of a collection of clothing inspired by the ornamentation of the religious architectural landmarks of the city of Latacunga, Cotopaxi province, it has a unique approach, this collection fuses the rich architectural and cultural heritage of the city with the current contemporary fashion, generating a visual synthesis that celebrates local identity. The main objective of this initiative is to highlight the influence of the ornamentation of the atriums on religious architecture in clothing or clothing, exploring ornamental elements such as stained glass, sculptural details and decorative patterns present in churches of historical importance, through a review . bibliographic. Inspiration is mainly sought in the atriums of three of the main sacred sanctuaries of the town. The purpose is to transcend beyond mere aesthetics, giving clothing a deep cultural and spiritual meaning and identity, thus establishing a bridge between the past and the present, without neglecting current fashion trends following trends. The design process will focus on the meticulous selection and reinterpretation of architectural elements, fusing them with contemporary textile techniques and sustainable materials. The social and economic impact of the project is expected to be significant, creating opportunities for local artisans and promoting cultural awareness. The resulting collection will not only be an artistic expression, but also a vehicle to preserve and disseminate the rich architectural history of Latacunga, thus strengthening the link between fashion and the cultural heritage of the region |
