Čoahkkáigeassu:The Centro Integral del Adulto Mayor in the city of Ambato is an institution dedicated to the well-being and quality of life of older adults. Its primary focus is to provide comprehensive services covering physical, mental, and emotional health, fostering activities that enable users to remain active and maintain a sense of belonging in their social environment. This project arises from the need to implement innovative and effective strategies to promote the holistic well-being of this group. Cognitive stimulation emerges as an essential tool to mitigate the cognitive decline associated with aging and to improve the quality of life of older adults. To develop the Cognitive Stimulation Kit, a mixed-method approach was adopted, combining documentary research, interviews with center staff, and direct observation of the needs of older adults. The result was the design of an interactive and multifunctional kit that includes specific activities aimed at stimulating key areas such as memory, attention, and logical reasoning. The Cognitive Stimulation Kit provides an integral and practical solution to promote the well-being of older adults, aligning with the objectives of the Centro Integral del Adulto Mayor. Its flexible and adaptable design allows implementation in various settings and accommodates different levels of cognitive ability. It is recommended as a permanent tool in the center’s programs, with the potential to extend its use to similar institutions in the region.
