Description
Résumé:Autism is a chronic neurological dysfunction where people who present it show difficulties in adaptation, difficulty in relating to others, repeating actions, among others. Although autism is present in our society, the educational material used in schools is not adapted to their way of learning. To address this problem, an investigation was carried out into the elements of design that provide and facilitate learning, being these, typography, colors, level of detail, minimum sizes, formats and materials. Through bibliographic analysis, interviews with experts and the use of observation sheets, it was determined that these elements, when used correctly, help in the formation of children with autism since they attract their attention and generate interest in learning. In the statistical results it was obtained that the design elements with the greatest impact are the chromatic, the typography, capture the child´s attention and the formats, both in size and rigidity. When presenting this material, there was an improvement in solving the activities of 1 minute with 15 seconds. This managed to demonstrate that design is linked to the learning of children with autism and that it contributes favorably to their learning.
