Se observa una gran pérdida de la identidad cultural ambateña debido a la creciente globalización y homogeneización cultural. Esta iniciativa busca promover y conservar la rica herencia cultural de la ciudad, fomentando un sentido de pertenencia y conciencia sobre la importancia de su protección mediante el diseño editorial, que incluye fotografía, diseño gráfico, composición y diagramación. Para su desarrollo, se aplicó un enfoque cualitativo que incluyó entrevistas con profesionales en Diseño Editorial, fotografía y expertos en Patrimonio Cultural.
