| Shrnutí: | The research is focused on analyzing the considerations in the design of footwear for children suffering from lower limb dysmetry, an accessory which fulfills the function of covering, protecting, and providing the necessary support to generate a healthy development of the foot and develop a correct acquisition of gait and posture. Deformities and differences in the length of the lower extremities can cause physical and emotional damage, which is why the design of footwear must integrate functional, aesthetic and technical aspects that allow the infant to feel comfortable. This study addresses functional aspects such as the practical usefulness of such an accessory, as well as its contribution to the treatment and general information on lower limb dysmetria. In addition, it focuses on the fundamental changes that must be developed during the process of making a customized shoe, from the key points and characteristics that the raw material must have, to the techniques for taking measurements and measuring systems. Each step of the design and manufacturing process undergoes modifications when working with a user who has specific needs in the plantar area. The study has a qualitative approach, because bibliographic research is used to develop the theoretical framework, and field research which allows to explore in detail the considerations to be considered when designing and manufacturing a customized footwear for patients with dysmetria. This information will be present in the technical guide that will be developed. |
