The main objective of this Project is to develop beekeeping protective clothing that complies with international technical standards, addressing the challenges caused by the use of inadequate attire for work in apiaries. This Project focuses on designing suits that apply technical standards, which are a set of guidelines and regulations establishing requirements and characteristics for garments designed to protect against worplace hazards. These standards ensure that the clothing meets the necessary criterio for safety, durability, and functionality, applying ISO standards. As this is an unconventional product, research has been conducted on materials, standards, and information gathered from beekeepers and professionals in the textile industry to develop a distinctive producto in the Ecuadorian market. This initiative aims to promote local consumption and Foster the growth of this largely unexplored in the country. Base don the recorded findings, the Project was developed to meet the needs of beekeepers in temperate climates, aligned with technical standards for safety, quality, and style, By utilizing advanced materials and functional desing, it seeks to enhance user performance and position itself as a reliable solution in the Ecuadorian Market.
