| Ամփոփում: | This research work focuses on the redesign of the clic clac hardware, a key element in the transformation of sofas into beds. The main objective has been to improve the multifunctionality of the furniture without sacrificing aesthetics or comfort. A mechanism has been developed that allows for easy installation, interchangeability of components and multiple reclining positions, thus responding to contemporary demands for versatility and spatial efficiency. The redesign process has relied on methodology such as House of Quality and prototyping, ensuring that each process contributes significantly to the user experience. Special attention has been paid to the selection of durable materials and to a design that facilitates maintenance, prolonging the useful life of the sofa bed. The results of the resulting hardware mechanism not only satisfy the functional and comfort requirements, but also embody a fusion of aesthetics, maintenance, comfort, versatility and multi-functionality, the evaluation of functionality was performed using Fusion 360 software, applying a load of 1177.20 N (equivalent to 120 kg) to identify the design's capacity in terms of supporting loads and stresses generated at different angles during daily use of the hardware. This solution contributes to simplicity of assembly and optimization of assembly time, as well as facilitating part exchange and maintenance in jam situations. With two additional tilt levels, the user experience is enriched, consolidating the design as a leading innovation in the furniture industry. The project has the potential to influence business efficiency, proposing a model that could be considered a new standard in sofa bed manufacturing.
