সংক্ষিপ্ত:The project was born from the need to make the cultural identity of the indigenous communities of Tungurahua visible through the making of murals as a means of dissemination. A mixed methodology was used including interviews with experts in indigenous worldview, muralism and illustration, surveys applied to young people between 20-24 years old and a photographic bank with cultural content. The research identified typical elements of the Salasaka, Tomabela, Chibuleo and Quisapincha communities, from their clothing to their practices and sacred places. The creative process included contemporary illustration techniques with the use of different identity elements to create compositions that faithfully and respectfully reflect their cultural heritage. As a result, an editorial product that compiles cultural information was developed and the final illustrations were set on murals, establishing a cultural dissemination tool that connects ancestral heritage with a contemporary visual language
