Sumario:Within the framework of this project, an exhaustive investigation has been carried out on the causes that generate ignorance of the cultural history of the Huambaló parish, located in the Pelileo canton, especially among young people between 18 and 29 years old. This phenomenon has had a negative impact on the preservation of the rich local cultural heritage. The combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches has allowed us to obtain a deep and analytical understanding of the reality of young people in relation to their knowledge of local historical-cultural aspects. The results of this research have confirmed the urgent need to address this problem effectively. To counteract cultural ignorance, the implementation of a photographic campaign focused on the dissemination of the most relevant cultural elements of the Huambaló parish is proposed. To guarantee the success of this initiative, there will be the collaboration of experts in advertising, photography and also the valuable contribution of local historians, who will contribute to providing a deeper and more authentic perspective of local history and culture. Additionally, exhaustive research has been carried out in the fields of photography and advertising to ensure the effectiveness of the strategies that will be implemented in the campaign. This comprehensive and collaborative approach seeks to not only spark young people's interest in their cultural history, but also foster a sense of pride and belonging to their community. Ultimately, the aim is to revitalize the appreciation and preservation of Huambaló's rich cultural heritage.
