| Summary: | This integrative project proposes the creation of a textile design inspired by the graphic elements of the human devil, present at the popular festival of Corpus Christi in Pujilí, analyzing each of the representative elements to then determine innovative textile designs. The aim is to explore the popular culture of the place and create a unique and distinctive piece that can be used in the textile industry. The project will involve the investigation of the festival, its historical and cultural context, the identification of the graphic elements of the human devil and its adaptation to textile design. It is expected that the final result will be a piece that reflects the rich culture of Pujilí and that can serve as a model for future textile design projects. In addition, this project promotes the preservation and valorization of the popular culture of the region, by adapting the iconography and Graphic elements from human devil to modern textile industry. This present project is carried out in order to contribute to culture through a textile catalog applied various surface treatments such as: sublimation, Printing, DTF, Textile Vinyl, Laser Engraving, etc.; which was based mainly on a bibliographical review, iconographic sheets as a result of the interpretation of data from the interviews carried out, and the module generation sheets were also incorporated. In addition, the final textile design can be used for the mass production of articles. of clothing, accessories with a strong cultural identity, which can have outstanding commercial and tourist value. |
