| Summary: | The architectural design of a cultural facility in the rural Santa Rosa parish highlights the importance of cultural centers in society, both locally and globally. This type of infrastructure is essential to promote the cultural, educational and social development of communities, by offering spaces where artistic activities, cultural manifestations and various creative expressions can be carried out. In Santa Rosa, the lack of buildings dedicated to culture has significantly limited the community, which has generated the need to intervene to provide an adequate space that responds to these shortcomings. The main objective of the project is to design a cultural facility that meets the needs of the parish, offering a place where the population can carry out their cultural and social activities effectively. To address this challenge, research was conducted using qualitative methodology. Various techniques and tools were used, including interviews with the inhabitants of the parish, in order to identify their needs and expectations. In addition, an on-site observation was carried out that allowed the social and cultural dynamics of the place to be analyzed, as well as to collect useful information to determine the appropriate location for the project. These findings evidenced the urgency of implementing an intervention that benefits the community. As a result of this research process, which included interviews, site analysis and data collection, intervention strategies were developed that guided the design of the cultural equipment. The final project was conceived as an inclusive and multifunctional space, designed to connect the community with its culture, traditions and sports activities. |
