Περιγραφή
Περίληψη:Sepsis in obstetrics is usually caused by Gram negative bacteria, but it can also be caused by Gram positive bacteria, fungi and even viruses that cause failure of several organs, and at the same time deficit of the immune response of the pregnant woman who reject the product causing the loss of pregnancy. All these phenomena cause a relative hypovolemia, which can be further aggravated by considering the bleeding or metrorrhagia that accompanies the abortion. When hypovolemia is not corrected and the septic factor is not controlled, hypotension will be more severe and vasoconstriction will occur as a compensatory mechanism. The kidney will be one of the organs that first alters in the face of this circumstance and the urinary debit will fall progressively, which can be anticipated as a sign of hypoperfusion in other more noble organs. The findings of the physical examination in relation to the results of laboratory and imaging tests are diagnosed on the basis of the correct history. Laboratory tests can help identify the cause of the shock and should be done early. The case of a 13-year-old patient, referred to as a first level with a clinical picture characterized by pain, general malaise and unquantified thermal rise, is presented, an ultrasound is requested that diagnoses deferred abortion.
