description Autism spectrum disorder or ASD is a neurobiological disorder that appears within the first three years of life and persists throughout an individual's life. Some people with autism have a known variation, such as a genetic condition. People with autism may act, communicate, interact, and learn differently than most people. The abilities of people with autism can vary greatly. For example, some people with autism may have advanced conversation skills, while others may not express themselves verbally. Its main symptoms are two, deficiencies in the communication area and repetitive patterns. Advances in neuroscience are giving us encouraging results in the etiology of autism spectrum disorder. However, genetic models cannot fully explain the cause of the disease, but neither can they explain the pathophysiology. However, the diagnosis is always made when signs and symptoms are present. The manifestations of autism cover a wide spectrum and some people require a very high level of support. Other people may also have learning disabilities or co-occurring conditions. To enable people on the autism spectrum to live long and fulfilling lives as autonomously and independently as possible, a mindset shift in society is needed that supports their active participation and inclusion. This entails creating and maintaining the necessary support services, as well as promoting accessibility for autism in all sectors. Numerous factors interfere with adequate access to health care.

Numerous factors interfere with adequate access to health care.
