However, weaknesses were also evident, such as the lack of maintenance in some areas and the need for greater promotion of its cultural value. |

Para ello se realizó un diagnóstico situacional, identificando elementos culturales que han contribuido en la construcción y percepción de los residentes y turistas de este lugar. También la gastronomía, las manifestaciones artísticas, la historia y su relación con el río siendo un referente para el turismo y la vida social de la comunidad. Además, se destaca el método descriptivo utilizando encuestas y la observación directa para evaluar la relación entre los elementos visuales y la cultura guayaquileña.
