This research is descriptive since through the quantitative and qualitative method it allowed us to collect and verify the data obtained, being favorable for the interpretation of the results. Furthermore, this research is based on a non-experimental design. The results obtained in this research are feasible, allowing the research hypothesis to be exemplified. Therefore, the results were obtained that in the Atalaya citadel women suffer from emotional dependence at a high level and present severe anxiety, thus it was possible to affirm the incidence of emotional dependence on anxiety, since generally the greater the dependence the greater the anxiety. |

Therefore, the results were obtained that in the Atalaya citadel women suffer from emotional dependence at a high level and present severe anxiety, thus it was possible to affirm the incidence of emotional dependence on anxiety, since generally the greater the dependence the greater the anxiety.El propósito de esta investigación es describir como la dependencia emocional incide en la ansiedad de las mujeres de la ciudadela la “Atalaya” del Cantón Echeandía Provincia de Bolívar, siendo así que a través de la muestra finita en una población de 100 mujeres se obtuvo un resultado de 53 personas, por lo consiguiente se evaluó en 53 mujeres a través de técnicas como entrevista y Test Psicométricos, por lo que estas técnicas permiten la recolección de información, mediante los instrumentos, Test de Ansiedad de Beck, Inventario de Dependencia Emocional (IDE), Cuestionario de preguntas abiertas. La presente investigación es descriptiva ya que a través del método cuantitativo y cualitativo nos permitió la recolección y veracidad de los datos obtenidos siendo favorables para la interpretación de los resultados, además esta investigación se basa en un diseño no experimental. Los resultados obtenidos en esta investigación son factibles permitiendo ejemplificar la hipótesis de la investigación.
