总结: | Pyelonephritis is a urinary infection, in which the presence of germs such as bacteria, fungi, or viruses is found in the urine. After showing significant bacteriuria, it is necessary to identify the anatomical location of the infection, using the clinical symptoms, and if necessary, complementary examinations. We call cystitis a urinary infection that affects the bladder, which is defined by a clinical picture of pain when urinating, frequency, tenesmus and sometimes haematuria, this picture occurs without fever. If there is fever, it indicates that another organ is also affected. If the affected organ is the kidney, the condition is called acute pyelonephritis and is characterized by fever, chills, lumbar pain, malaise accompanied by bacteriuria. Acute pyelonephritis, if well treated, generally cures sequelae, but on certain occasions, especially when there is vesicorenal reflux or obstruction, the disease continues and produces inflammatory and scarring lesions that atrophy the kidney, the condition is called chronic pyelonephritis. The present clinical case study is the process of care in a 68-year-old patient who had a clinical picture of acute pyelonephritis plus arterial hypertension, through Virginia Henderson's theory, the nursing intervention of NANDA, NIC Y NOC, which were fundamental in the patient's recovery process. |
