Duelo y su influencia en la conducta de una adolescente de 13 años de la Parroquia San Juan

This case study has as its theme: Grief and its influence on the behavior of a 13-year-old adolescent from San Juan Parish; collecting necessary information through the use of techniques such as interview, observation, medical history and psychometric tests, in which according to the analysis, the most appropriate for the clinical case were the Corman family test and the Hollom self-control test and Kendall, which resulted in aggressive characteristics, lost spontaneity, inhibition, devaluation, among others. The diagnosis obtained according to the ICD10 and DSM-V criteria was: 309.4 (F43.25) Adjustment disorders with mixed disturbance of emotions and behavior. It was identified that the patient is going through the second stage of grief, which is anger, for which she intervened with various psychotherapeutic techniques such as the farewell letter Collection of activities, relaxation technique, circular questions, family psychoeducation from the systemic family approach, as well how the continuity of psychological care was recommended to assess the process of acceptance of the loss, in addition to family psychoeducation to strengthen ties within the system.
