Systematic and periodic compliance of antenatal checks during pregnancy in adolescence, is a necessity today by high rates that shows this health and social phenomenon in the country where is more obvious in the early adolescence and middle. General objective. Determine the relationship between the fulfillment of the prenatal and the development of pregnancies in adolescents in health "Workers struggle" circuit located in the canton Babahoyo, Los Ríos province, in the period from May to September of 2019. Methodology. The study was based on methods to theoretical and empirical level, presented a quali-quantitative approach, was not experimental, as the place was classified as a field study, taking into account the level of the study was exploratory and descriptive, for the purpose it was applied, according to the temporal dimension was cross. Used non-structured and direct scientific observation as well as survey, a questionnaire as an an instrument. Population and sample was 35 and 25 adolescent pregnant women respectively, sampling non-probability intentional. Results. Predominantly pregnant adolescents age group was included in Middle adolescence (ages 14 to 17). Conclusions. Only 12.0% of pregnant teens, attended responsibly and systematic prenatal indicated by health personnel of the concerned circuit in the canton Babahoyo, reflecting a serious situation in terms of possible maternal and fetal complications. |
