Özet:It is a very effective graphic tool because it works in a way analogous to our mind, using images and associations that emulate a natural function of the brain in radiating thought. Where is going to explain the situation of a mental map and its characteristics. In addition, the similarities and differences between the conceptual maps and the mental maps are exposed, and the advantages of the latter with respect to the traditional methods in facilitating the learning, stimulating the creativity and presenting the information of a way more organized, pleasant and easy to remember. According to the statistics, the most relevant resolutions that people make at the beginning of a new year are related to losing weight, being more organized, spending less and saving more, enjoying life fully, staying fit, learning something new, stop smoking, help others, fall in love and spend more time with family. In this learning knowledge arises from the logical combination of concepts. Therefore, it is the most elaborate form of meaningful learning, and from it one is able to make very complex scientific, mathematical and philosophical appraisals. As it is a type of learning that requires more effort, it is done voluntarily and consciously. Of course, it uses the two previous types of meaningful learning. Education can not be complete without the study of this field; the interdisciplinarity of knowledge, recognized today more than ever, implies a task in a team; the increasing complexity of today's society, on the other hand, requires shared responsibility and decision. This is how the active learning methodology is set up as a team, it is the fundamental approach vehicle that allows the adaptation of the training process within the classroom.
