| Shrnutí: | Tuberculosis is an infection caused by the Mycobacterium tuberculosis microorganism and is transmitted from person to person through secretions from the respiratory system or droplets of saliva directly from patients with active pulmonary tuberculosis. The objective of this work is to establish how self-care is related to preventive measures in patients with tuberculosis of the Mariuxi Febres Cordero Health Center. The methodology used is the inductive method in the quantitative modality, to which the survey was applied, through a questionnaire with 23 dichotomous and polytomic questions, the results showed that the population was made up of 30 patients diagnosed with tuberculosis of which women under 25 years 50% were the most susceptible, based on preventive measures the treatment scheme was scheme 2 (MDR) 56.67%, eating habits were observed that 43.33% have unsaturated fat consumption and that among toxic habits 26.67% consume alcohol and 6.67% consume drugs. The self-care showed that the use of the mask is applied in 30% and that the hygienic measures only 50% comply, and that 40% complies with the established medical controls. In conclusion, it should be encouraged and explained the importance that adequate hygiene measures should be followed to prevent the spread of the disease to family members and, above all, that it is very important to follow medical indications. |
