Čoahkkáigeassu:NAC is among the main causes of morbidity and mortality in adults, and is characterized by the inhalation of pathogens outside the hospital environment, causing the alveoli to fill with pus and fluid; The application of respiratory therapy is a fundamental part in the treatment of this pathology since they help to keep the airways permeable, facilitate the elimination of bronchial secretions and improve gas exchange. General Objective: To determine the relationship between the application of Respiratory Therapy techniques and the evolution that occurs in community Acquired Pneumonia in adults aged 25 to 65 years attended in the IESS Babahoyo Hospital. Methodology: The methods used were the deductive and the synthesis methods; the modality chosen is qualitative and quantitative and the type of research used was the Non-experimental, Descriptive - Correlational and transversal. Results: the most effective techniques for patients with CAP are Aerosol therapy and Oxygen therapy, the most common complication is the Pleural effusion, the sex most prone to this disease is the male and at the same time it is the most complicated gender, the therapists in charge of the hospital's outpatient consultation if they comply with the procedure when applying the different techniques of respiratory therapy for the recovery of the patient. Conclusion: the application of respiratory therapy techniques to patients with CAP is very effective in achieving the restoration of patients' health and improving their living conditions.
