Summary:Abortion is defined as the spontaneous or induced interruption of pregnancy before 20 weeks of gestation or before the fetus weighs 500 grams. This study aims to associate the prevalence of abortion in women of childbearing age and its relationship to reproductive risk, León Becerra Camacho-Milagro 2017 general hospital. The type of research is analytical since information from the Hospital's REDAACA database was used, the results were obtained for the analysis by means of an observational, quali-quantitative, inductive, descriptive, retrospective, non-experimental study when studying the various variables that are illustrated in graphs and tables. Among the results obtained in our analysis we have that abortion represents 15.2% of patients attended by emergency and the one that predominates is incomplete abortion with 35.46% that is significant between the ages of 15 - 24 years, generally These are adolescents with unwanted pregnancies who induce abortion. For what is established in the conclusions of the study, recommendations were made, such as: Implementing campaigns aimed at the adolescent population since they are the ones that are attributed to unwanted pregnancy and post-abortions induced by non-medical causes and to work with them. implement a plan together with the health district to educate the urban and rural population in the sexual and reproductive area to reduce the abortion rate in Milagro
