Patrones de gastos de turistas que viajan a destinos de Sol y Playa, cantón Salinas

The present case study is titled “Expenditure patterns of tourists traveling to Sun and Beach destinations” focused on the town of Salinas canton, this study addresses the problem focused on the fact that companies and local authorities cannot act effectively if They do not have a deep knowledge of the tourist spending patterns of visitors, with the objective of analyzing the spending patterns of tourists who visit destinations in Sol y Playa, Salinas canton. To carry out this research, a non-experimental cross-sectional methodological design was used with a descriptive-exploratory scope under a quantitative approach, completing the information collection techniques of the documentary review and the survey whose instrument was a questionnaire of 10 approved questions and validated by the teacher tutor, resulting in 35% of those surveyed whose budget is allocated directly to their lodging and food, concluding that most of their budget is allocated to lodging and food, therefore it is recommended to diversify the price options to satisfy the needs and budget of visitors due to the importance of actively promoting the Salinas canton as a tourist destination.
