Summary:In the detailed study presented below, of the case of low self-esteem and its incidence in cutting syndrome in a 13-year-old adolescent from the city of San José de Chimbo, it was possible to obtain the necessary information through psychological intervention using some resources such as: clinical history observation and semi-structured interview The Rosenberg test (the Rosenberg self-esteem scale) was used, which specifically serves to determine how people value themselves, these resources were of fundamental importance to find the diagnosis of the patient, in addition some therapy sessions were organized cognitive-behavioral in order to help stop these thoughts that caused discomfort and restlessness and originate the cutting syndrome, we also worked together with the parents to be able to improve the relationship in the family environment and thus obtain the expected results that helped to improve your lifestyle without neglecting your obligations.
