| Summary: | The present case study was developed in the Sports Federation of Los Ríos, located in the Babahoyo canton, where weaknesses are identified regarding the payment of remuneration to workers that makes it impossible to properly manage and comply with the activities and procedures implemented within the institution. The objective of the case is to analyze the management of payments in the Sports Federation of Los Ríos, through the determination of the main causes that induce inconveniences within the establishment and how the internal administration manages the economic resources set by the State towards public institutions since the origin of the Covid -19 pandemic. The methodology used in the research is descriptive and the applied method is inductive, which allowed to observe all the situations presented within the study; Also, the technique of the survey directed to the human talent of the Sports Federation was applied. The survey carried out allowed finding findings and results such as: the federation improperly carries out payment procedures, its institutional budget was reduced due to the decisions adopted by the Central Government due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, the payment of public contracts with strategic allies or suppliers was suspended, the Annual Operating Plan was affected during the fiscal period and the budget distribution does not follow the guidelines issued by Ministerial Agreement 075. |
