Resumo:This research work was developed based on the island agricultural production association (ASOPROAISLA), in order to analyze in detail, the multifunctionality of executive secretaries and the importance they have in the labor demand of companies, to promote a more effective work of those who are currently part of the secretarial staff of the institutions of the canton of Vinces. A low work performance was detected due to the load of tasks assigned to the secretaries, which frequently becomes accumulated work due to the excess of activities and lack of time to perform them. The case study seeks to propose strategies to reduce this problem in order to improve the work process in the institutions. For this it has been necessary to apply research methods and data collection techniques such as surveys in order to determine the relationship and influence of the topics presented and to propose possible results that lead to a better labor production by the secretaries and thus offer a better service for the company as well as for the users and the community. The results allowed to know the activities performed by the secretaries in the different departments of the institution, whether large, medium or small, and to make known the importance of the secretary in the facilities that allow a better valuation of the amount of activities in charge to promote a quality service.
