| Resumo: | In most homes in the city of Babahoyo have not yet adopted the use of induction cookers, more than four years after the start of the PEC (Program of Energy Efficiency for Cooking by Induction and Heating of Water with Electricity in Replacement of LPG in the Residential Sector) which aims to replace the domestic use of gas, replacing it with electricity through the use of electromagnetic induction. Faced with this problem, research was developed based on a systematic analysis of the process of commercialization of induction cookers in the residential sector of the town belonging to the El Mamey citadel in the city of Babahoyo, with the aim of ascertaining the factors that remain welcome based on the perception or experience they have about the use of the appliance and its benefits. At the same time, a comparative analysis was made regarding the use of domestic gas, determining the advantages and disadvantages of using the energy efficiency program P.E.C. Information was also gathered from the state and private sector agencies involved in the P.E.C. with the purpose of socializing with the users in order to generate reliability obtain satisfaction of the final consumer and thus contribute to the search of alternatives before a possible reduction to the domestic gas subsidy. |
