Sumari:In this document we want to collect information on the agronomic management of the blueberry crop (Vaccinium corymbosum L) in Ecuador. In Ecuador, the blueberry crop has not been exploited by small and medium farmers in rural areas, due to the lack of knowledge they have regarding agronomic management and the nutritional requirement of the crop, therefore they have not been able to reach the high level of performance. Given the need to increase production in this crop, the generation of agricultural practices is required in which the correct management of water and soil is taken into account, without having negative impacts on the vegetative and productive development of the Blueberry crop. The present investigative document presented as a practical component, was developed through the collection of all kinds of information, carrying out a detailed investigation in the different free access web pages, scientific articles, degree theses, sources and bibliographic documentation available on different platforms. digital. The main findings were that blueberries are harvested manually without spoiling the fruit, it can be harvested up to 8 times from the same plant. Blueberries have vitamins C, fiber and are rich in natural pigments (anthocyanins and carotenoids) with antioxidant properties. They are used in human health to stimulate bone formation, red blood cells, resistance to infection, or other benefits. It was concluded that agronomic management is a fundamental activity in blueberry cultivation since it directly influences the yield and quality standards of the fruit, therefore it is important to know the phenological stages of the crop so that the execution of these tasks is carried out in the precise and opportune moment. Among the tasks of the crop are planting, irrigation, fertilization, pruning, pest control, etc.
