The results addressed were as follows: that of 100% (25) of the mothers surveyed, the main reasons for the abandonment of breastfeeding fall mainly in the social factor (36%) For lack of education to mothers; Followed by a (28%) For mother's work, and (24%) For lack of support from the couple. The second and no less important reason lies in the biological factors with (40%) Nipple cracking (40%) Mastitis. Being the conclusions: it was found that the biological and social factors if they are associated with the abandonment of the exclusive Breastfeeding and are also varied because we find different reasons, by which it is not continued with the feeding only with breast milk in the First six months of the baby's life, emphasizing the social factor as is the work of the mother, with a high percentage, followed by the biological factor as it is the presence of cracks and mastitis with the same percentage; These are the most obvious reasons for abandoning exclusive breastfeeding.
