| Тойм: | SUMMARY In the community of Puntales Alto, Bolivar parish, Bolivar cantón, Carchi province, located in geographic coordinates, 0 ° 31`16 "north latitude and 77 ° 55`54,4" west longitude, with an altitude of 2980 meters. This work was performed in order to evaluate the response of yield performance of two common bean varieties (Phaseolus vulgaris L), the effect of moon phases. Was investigated eight treatments combined two varieties; Centenario, Rojo del Valle in four moon phases; New, Growing, Full, Waning. Design Randomized Complete Block (DBCA) was used in factorial arrangement A x B, with eight treatments and three repetitions, giving all of 24 experimental units. The all area of the experiment was 592 m2, experimental plots of 14,00 m2 with a net area of 6,72 m2. It was evaluation percentage of germination, plant height, stem diameter, days to flowering, number of pods per plant, number of grains per pod, percentage of incidence of diseases, insect pests and yield per net area within the unit was evaluated experimental. Data analysis of variance and underwent treatment comparison was evaluate with Duncan test 5%. The results determined that the cultivation of common beans Centenario variety Crescent, reached a high germination percentage, although not significant averages plant height and stem diameter, was also noted that present lower incidence of pests, proved earlier regarding days to flowering, presented greater number of pods per plant and yield per benefit per net area and the largest net profit. |
