The present theoretical - practical work details information of the clinical case where the problem is malnutrition and iron deficiency anemia of the 5-year-old boy who lives in the city of Babahoyo with symptoms of general malaise, paleness, vomiting, etc; Its objective was to improve the nutritional status of the 5-year-old child with protein energy malnutrition and iron deficiency anemia, through which an exhaustive evaluation of his anthropometric, biochemical, clinical and dietary data was carried out in the latter, a disorder in the pattern could be verified. due to inadequate dietary intake in terms of unhealthy quantities and preparations. In this work, a food plan of 1500 calories was provided according to the socioeconomic level and daily requirements that the patient needs, this food plan was distributed in 5 meals a day, with hyperproteic, normocarbonated, normolipidic characteristics where nutritional supplementation was included twice. a day within the child's snacks.
