Prensa escrita y su influencia en el desarrollo cultural en los habitantes del cantón Ventanas, 2020

The present investigation of the written press and its influence on the cultural development of the inhabitants of the Canton Ventanas is of great interest and importance, because it understands the qualities of cultural journalism for the development of a community and at the same time the educational contribution that it can. The written press is a medium that currently does not have an adequate reception since nowadays the development and advancement of technology does not allow this medium to fulfill its role of communicating more quickly even though it was one of the first media that has contributed to communication worldwide, many times cultural information through the written press does not have the reception that it should have with great importance due to the lack of knowledge and cultural empowerment that each individual should possess, in order to this way understand the cultural values and keep the roots. Finally, the written press was one of the first means of communication that allowed readers to enjoy different activities that are immersed in their information, facilitating knowledge between cultures and the varied availability of options between: opinions, sports, chronicle, social, children's, gastronomic and advertising spaces, therefore, the importance of the written press and the dissemination of culture through it should be maintained and enhanced for a development both local, as is the case of the Canton Ventanas as well as at the national level.
