This information, being considered sensitive, must be safeguarded from some type of external and internal threats that compromise its security and privacy. The analysis of vulnerabilities, pentesting and preventive actions on the Comprehensive Academic System of the Technical University of Babahoyo is established as a fundamental part of the protection of information, the lack of security in the system could have a negative impact, including violation of privacy, loss of trust, within the university community. By taking a proactive approach, the university can reduce the likelihood of security breaches and protect the privacy, integrity, and availability of the institution's sensitive data.
