| Tóm tắt: | The importance of inventory control lies in maintaining the correct balance of products in the warehouse area to satisfactorily meet the demand of the consumer market, where improper inventory management can generate consequences in the treatment of accounting information, in the market participation of companies, inclination of the client portfolio towards direct competition and not having reliable information from the institutional inventory that facilitates the decision-making process by the managerial level. The investigation carried out at the branch of the company National Tire Experts S.A, located in AV. Enrique Ponce Luque and Juan x. Marcos, together with the School of the Drivers Union, aims to analyze the relationship between inventory control and sales at the point of sale, since the health emergency due to the Covid-19 pandemic forces commercial companies to establish stealth of maximums and minimums in the levels of stocks according to the behavior of the consumer market. The research methodology has a qualitative-quantitative approach and a type of descriptive research that allowed describing the main findings identified, while the applied method is inductive, which helped to determine the drawbacks that arise from inventory management. The technique used was the survey that contributed to the establishment of the following conclusions: supply logistics was affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and in conjunction with the weak supply of information on inventory replenishment according to current market demand. |
