The objective of the research is to determine the influence of nursing staff in adherence to nutritional treatment in patients of the Diabetic Club in the Specialties Hospital of the Armed Forces No. 1 Period of October 2019 - March 2020. The study based on the inductive-deductive, cross-sectional method, where a group of diabetic patients are studied on how their nutrition is and if they receive necessary information about the foods they should consume both in frequency and in portions required according to their nutritional status. The information obtained shows that the role of the nursing professional as a caregiver is important, since he is in greater contact with the patient and is responsible for the patient to follow his treatment properly.
