The current clinical case is structured in different parts for its respective understanding, as an introduction we have that the prevalence of hypoxic respiratory failure in patients with COVID-19 is 19%. Recent reports from China showed that 4% to 13% of COVID-19 patients received noninvasive posit...

description The current clinical case is structured in different parts for its respective understanding, as an introduction we have that the prevalence of hypoxic respiratory failure in patients with COVID-19 is 19%. Recent reports from China showed that 4% to 13% of COVID-19 patients received noninvasive positive pressure ventilation and 2.3% to 12% required invasive mechanical ventilation, Our theory supporting our study is the following: Mechanical ventilation in pandemic, Mechanical ventilation in COVID-19, Types of Ventilatory Support Strategies, Risk factors between ARDS, COVID 19 and death, the main objective is "To determine what are the criteria for intubation of the patient due to of COVID 19 ”once the previous points have been raised, we proceed to the elaboration of the patient's anamnesis, the same that is found in our diagnostic methodology, once the case is applied we can conclude that by means of arterial blood gas and chest X-rays, the condition to intubate a patient, and that in the face of the current COVID 19 pandemic, mechanical ventilation is the fundamental pillar for patients with this problem health, thus ensuring its life.
