According to the results, the Bilateral Sig value 0.001 is less than 0.05; therefore the null hypothesis is rejected.La investigación titulada “USO DE LA HISTORIETA PARA MEJORAR EL HÁBITO DE LA LECTURA EN EL ÁREA DE COMUNICACIÓN DE LOS ALUMNOS DE SEXTO AÑO DE EDUCACIÓN BÁSICA DE LA ESCUELA 24 DE MAYO DE LA PARROQUIA SAN JUAN”, tuvo como finalidad determinar, en qué medida la lectura de historietas puede motivar y desarrollar el gusto por la lectura en los estudiantes; recurso imprescindible para mejorar el aprendizaje. Para tal motivo se tomó como muestra intencional a 18 estudiantes de una población de 50 en total, a los cuales se les aplicó un pre test (encuesta), luego de lo cual se desarrollaron sesiones con lectura de historietas; para luego aplicar un post test (encuesta); la investigación fue cuantitativa, con un diseño experimental. De acuerdo al análisis de correlación Rho de Spearman es positiva la hipótesis planteada, ya que hay una correlación significativa entre la variable independiente y la dependiente, el cual es igual a 72. 8 %. De acuerdo a los resultados, el valor Sig.
