Análisis de herramientas de virtualización como soporte al modelo de negocio de las Pymes.

The analysis of virtualization tools to support the business model of SMEs is a topic of current relevance in the business world. Virtualization allows SMEs to optimize their technological infrastructure, reduce costs and increase operational efficiency. The objective of this case study is to search for the best virtualization tools, in this exploration we examined the technical characteristics of open source software tools and the trends that lead the global market. A descriptive method was used for this study, which allowed to evaluate advantages, disadvantages and performance of virtualization tools. Surveys were used as a research technique for data collection. The results obtained showed that VirtualBox is an efficient option for virtualization in small and medium-sized businesses. The implementation of these virtualization tools can significantly improve business models by reducing operating costs, increasing efficiency, improving disaster recovery and providing greater scalability. It is important to note that using open source virtualization tools can present unique challenges for SMBs and virtualization requires technical expertise, so it is important for companies to train their staff. It is also necessary to make sure that the company's hardware is compatible and has the necessary capacity to run the selected virtualization solution.
