The present work was carried out with the purpose of studying the incidence of the main pests in the cultivation of watermelon. For this, we proceeded to investigate from different sources to collect information to verify which pests are more frequent in the cultivation of watermelon, the data collected showed that the main pests that attack the cultivation of watermelon are: The whitefly this insect causes strong repercussions in the crops since its attack causes yellowing, weakness of the plants, this list is also added due to its percussion in the crop since they can transmit viral diseases to the plants and these viruses can affect the growth and production, thrips affect by their high population levels of both adults and larvae. Farmers who combat these pests do not know in many cases the most efficient insecticides and the appropriate doses to combat these pests, all regions have an incidence of pests due to the great adaptability of these pests regardless of the region where it is located. the crop.
