description Strabismus is an alteration that occurs a lot in children and is a significant axis in alterations of visual acuity and in binocular vision. It is important that the faster the treatment, the better the sensory prognosis and vice versa. To carry out the treatment, it would be appropriate for the patient to be treated by an ophthalmologist. It is recurrent to discover this situation in the first years of life, although in other cases strabismus is hereditary. Two months ago the patient was diagnosed with a cataract in her right eye, which she has been undergoing treatment for, but apparently it is not having any effect as she has now developed a slight outward deviation of her right eye. In order to diagnose the patient, complementary tests are carried out. The control to the patient is that she must attend once a month for 6 months to see her adaptation to the lenses and the patches, if favorable results are obtained within that time, her controls will be every six months until she is fully adapted, if no variable exists there will be your least regular checks. Then they will be once a year. As a treatment, he was recommended to use invisible bifocal lenses with a nano sprite frame and silicone adjustments to prevent his lenses from always falling off, apart from performing visual therapy with eye patches for 4 hours a day. The therapies must be carried out correctly and they must always attend their controls to check their evolution.
