The methodology applied had a non-experimental design, with a qualitative approach, using data collection techniques such as observation, user surveys, and interviews with the technicians in charge of radio links. After analyzing the data, it was found that there are some radio link equipment exposed to climatic variations and natural conditions that decrease their useful life and obstruct visibility between one point and another, interfering with the quality of service, which also affects the increase in users, whose number exceeded the initial installed capacity. An alternative to improve the quality of service is updating equipment and expanding bandwidth. |

An alternative to improve the quality of service is updating equipment and expanding bandwidth.El presente caso de estudio tiene como objetivo valorar las características del radioenlace del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal (GADM) del cantón Las Naves, provincia de Bolívar, evidenciándose que los equipos utilizados tienen un tiempo de vida de cinco años, que brindan el servicio a tres sectores del cantón Las Naves, en las cuales el número de usuarios se incrementó en relación al cual fueron originalmente planificados. La metodología que se aplicó tuvo un diseño no experimental, de enfoque cualitativo, utilizó técnicas de recolección de datos como la observación, encuestas a usuarios y entrevistas a los técnicos encargados de los radioenlaces. Una vez analizados los datos, se encontró que existen algunos equipos del radioenlace expuestos a las variaciones climáticas y condiciones naturales que disminuyen su vida útil y obstruyen la visibilidad entre un punto y otro interfiriendo en la calidad del servicio, la cual también se afecta con el incremento de los usuarios, cuyo número excedió la capacidad inicial instalada.
