| Περίληψη: | This case study was born as a result of the high impact that infographic content has today due to its easy analysis, understanding and reading; being, in addition, adaptable for any type of public. In the context of higher education, they are used to facilitate the teaching-learning process in students of different professions when faced with complex issues; as, they serve so that the university students are informed of what happens in the alma mater. Objective: to analyze the importance of infographic content in the social networks of the Technical University of Babahoyo. Methodology used: An investigation with a quantitative, field-descriptive approach with a non-experimental - cross-sectional design was developed. An intentional selection was obtained with 88 students of the social communication career of the Technical University of Babahoyo. Instrument: A structured questionnaire of questions composed of 15 items was designed to detect the degree of satisfaction and knowledge about infographic content in social networks. Results: It was verified that the Facebook social network is the most used by the students of the Technical University of Babahoyo, however, the information that is transmitted by the respective pages is not completely complete. There are limitations in terms of infographic content and on many occasions the message does not reach the students correctly. There is no interaction by the moderator of the platform that is most used by students, which means that they have to corroborate the information through other sources. |
