Тойм:SUMMARY In the cultivation of cocoa clone CCN-51, it has been frequently observed premature wilting cob or Cherelle wilt that has greatly affected the yield and quality of fruit is burning in recent years has caused the loss of harvest 90 %, the yield of cocoa, which certainly affects the economy of farmers, with this background in 2015 an experiment aimed to be conducted: 1) determine the amounts of copper are needed to reduce premature wilting cob or Cherelle wilt, 2) evaluate the effects of applying copper to soil and leaves used as a fungicide and nutrient, 3) economically analyze cocoa performance based on the levels and forms of application of copper. The study was conducted on September period – December, the estate envy located 30 km in the Babahoyo way - Mata de cacao - San Jose del tambo farm is located at UTM North 672,342.61 longitude coordinates, latitude south 9,788,083.92, north 672,258.70 longitude, latitude south 9,788,029.53, which is a representative of Mata where cocoa farmers engaged in the production of cacao CCN-51 intensively. In the experiment the following applications copper ground (0, 1, 2 and 3 kg) with (0, 0.5, 1 kg of aspergido copper foliage) plus 2 lt Chlorothalonil with 1 lt strobilurin studied and taken the following: I gherkin effective / ha, gherkins aborted / ha, effective cobs / ha, ear length / ha, number of seeds per ear / ha, yield quintals / ha. Data were analyzed statistically, more treatment Clorotalonil more Strobilurin factorial arrangement 4x3 + 1 arranged in 3 replicates. As a result it was found that the best treatments were the interaction of 1 kg of copper applied to soil plus 1 kg of copper applied to the foliage which gave a yield of 50 quintals / ha the same generating better income, followed by treatment 2kg copper applied to soil with 0 kg foliage was 49 quintals / ha compared with the control to which it was applied copper was 37 quintals / ha, compared chlorothalonil more Strobilurin generated a yield of 41 quintals / ha surpassing in 1 and 2 qq / ha to 0.5 copper application to foliage and 1 kg. It was concluded that the best performance is achieved with the interaction of 1 kg of copper both soil and foliage and application of Clorotalonil more strobilurin, and dosages of 1 kg of copper to the ground as the foliage or 2 lt Chlorothalonil recommended more 1 lt strobilurin which improve cocoa production.
