| Тойм: | The present study was based on investigating the influence of play games on the development of the learning process of teaching and learning of children from the Tahuantinsuyo school of basic education in the canton of Quevedo, Los Ríos province, 2020. The problem was identified in the Institution through coexistence and work experience. The Theoretical Framework supports the variables, dimensions such as didactics and play, and indicators related to the importance of play in the teaching-learning process. The research methodology was Socio-Educational with a qualitative-quantitative approach, and in turn determined an exploratory, descriptive and explanatory level of depth, supported by bibliographic-documentary and field research. The technique that was applied was the survey through the questionnaire that was validated by expert judgment, which was applied to determine its reliability. The results obtained were represented by means of tables with quantitative data and graphs. After the analysis and interpretation of the results, it was finally concluded that the students feel unmotivated and disinterested in acquiring the English language since the classes are boring and monotonous and, therefore, teachers are recommended to implement playful games that involve didactic strategies during the teaching-learning process. |
