Yhteenveto:The following research project has the intention of analyzing the information that transits through a data network in order to make decisions about how to optimize the performance in the network processes that may be presenting transmission delays and therefore could cause a malfunction. The analysis can be done with the help of the following platforms, one of them is a traffic analyzer that exists in a local network (WIRESHARK) which will provide all the traffic information that is generated at LAN level, exposing in detail each one of the IP frames that are doubtful of unwanted traffic in a network as well as its content, in order to be able to take blocking measures. Another platform that can help to analyze network traffic is Advanced IP Scanner is a tool that allows us to have at our reach the ability to control our LAN network. Being able to control the network gives us access to shared folders and FTP servers in order to guarantee the analysis of the network. We can also mention another tool which is Capsa Free Network Analyzer that allows the control and monitoring of the network in real time of the packages and thus be able to give a solution to any problem that may arise in the network. To understand a little more about this topology of the analysis that is going to be carried out, we will proceed to make a very general diagram (Figure 1) of each of the locations of the platforms in the network where the data will be captured.
