| description | Acute pyelonephritis is an infection in the urinary tract, which affects one of the organs of the body, which is the kidney, this organ has the function of cleaning the different wastes and is also responsible for eliminating excess fluids that exist in the body, that is why it is important to know the clinical picture of this pathology in order to apply a treatment with antibiotics immediately. In the present clinical case, the different stages of the nursing care process, the assessment, diagnosis, idealization, execution and evaluation were applied, and thus interventions were carried out aimed at favoring the patient's health status. The PAE is a method that, through the data collected from the patient, a nursing diagnosis will be made, which will carry out interventions and activities aimed at their pathology, likewise, the appropriate treatment with antibiotics will be applied according to the doctor prescribes. When health personnel are aware of the pathology present in the patient, they have to act immediately, applying all the knowledge acquired through their professional life, through treatments, care and interventions, in order to stabilize the patient and participate in their recovery. |

En el presente caso clínico se aplicó las diferentes etapas del proceso de atención de enfermería, la valoración, diagnóstico, idealización, ejecución y evaluación, y así se realizó intervenciones encaminadas a favorecer el estado de salud del paciente. El PAE es un método que mediante los datos recogidos del paciente se elaborara un diagnóstico enfermería, la cual se ejecutaran intervenciones y actividades encaminadas a su patología, así mismo se aplicara el tratamiento adecuado con antibióticos según el médico prescriba.
