In addition exist little control and surveillance in pets that have the resident of El Volante, causing predisposition pets in touch with Toxoplasma Gondii by eating contaminated food, besides caring for the preparation of foods it is necessary. As an alternative solution proposed an action plan was implemented in order to prevent acute infections caused by Toxoplasma Gondii in Precinct the Volante Canton Babahoyo, receiving satisfaction with the information gained from the training. |

As an alternative solution proposed an action plan was implemented in order to prevent acute infections caused by Toxoplasma Gondii in Precinct the Volante Canton Babahoyo, receiving satisfaction with the information gained from the training.El trabajo de investigación tiene la finalidad de elaborar un Plan de Acción para el control de la incidencia de Toxoplasmosis y su agente causal con el propósito de prevenir las infecciones agudas, en este sentido existe la necesidad de desarrollar actividades socializadoras que permitan llegar a una profilaxis adecuada, con los habitantes del recinto el volante del cantón Babahoyo que hayan desarrollado infecciones agudas producidas por el Toxoplasma Gondii. Considerando la situación anterior interesa conocer ¿cuál es el comportamiento clínico, su curso evolutivo y las principales complicaciones de casos atendidos por infecciones agudas causadas por Toxoplasma Gondii de la consulta externa de los habitantes mayores de 18 años del Recinto El Volante del Cantón Babahoyo? De manera general, los resultados del estudio ponen de manifiesto la presencia de Inmunoglobulinas para el Toxoplasma Gondii en un 38%, su mayoría en casos de Toxoplasmosis Aguda Adquirida en pacientes Inmunocompetentes de forma asintomática. Además existe poco control y vigilancia en las mascotas que poseen los habitantes del sector El Volante, lo que provoca predisposición de las mascotas a estar en contacto con el Toxoplasma Gondii por el consumo de alimentos contaminados, además el cuidado para la preparación de los alimentos no es el necesario.
