The animals were fed with savoy grass (brachiaria brizantha) and supplements: palm mud, molasses, mineralized salt and grain salt. As a result, an average daily gain of 0,978 kg live weight was obtained, the benefit-cost ratio was 1,42 dollars. |

La metodología de presente trabajo se basa en una investigación documental, se realiza por el método inductivo-deductivo, documental bibliográfico, información obtenida de los dspace de la universidad, bibliografías de Google académico, otros espacios de consulta bibliográfica, revistas indexadas y artículos científicos, además se toma datos de un caso real de la Finca “Bello Amanecer”, ubicado en el sector Rancho Quemado, parroquia Malimpia, cantón Rosa Zárate provincia de Esmeraldas, donde se empleó 25 novillos cruzados con Brahman, Nelore y Brown Swiss, y se aplicó de 36 mg de Zeranol por vía subcutánea, 6 ml Boldenona por vía intramuscular. Los animales se alimentaron con pasto Saboya (Brachiaria brizantha) y suplementos: lodo de palma, melaza, sal mineraliza y sal en grano.
