| Sammanfattning: | SUMMARY The present investigation was carried out in San Vicente de Pusir, canton Bolivar, province of Carchi, whose theme was: Identification of the main pests and diseases in the cultivation of pepper variety Nathalie F1 (Capsicum annuum L.), whose objectives were: Determine which it is the sowing area destined to the cultivation of pepper (Capsicum annum L.); to analyze the phytosanitary controls that are carried out in the cultivation of pepper (Capsicum annuum L.); know what is the range of applications of pesticides in the cultivation of pepper variety Nathalie. It was determined that growers sow peppers, 60% grow them on farms of less than 1 ha, 20% sow from 1 to 2 ha and more than 3 ha respectively, on this occasion no producer had sown 2 to 3 ha, its climatic conditions are favorable for sowing many crops, which help the producer to improve his economic income; the distance sown by 60% of producers is at 0.30 x 1 m, with a density of 33.333 plants / ha; and 40% sowing at 25 x 1 m, with a density of 40,000 plants / ha, the application of chemical products, for the control of pests and diseases carried out in the morning hours with a frequency of 8 days for control, one of the main pests that attack the crop are the Frankliniella occidentalis thrips with 29%, we also have 14% the furler, the weevil and the paratrioza. Producers with 100% perform chemical controls and do not rotate active ingredients. |
