The intensity of the pain was initially assessed with a score of 8 on the EVA scale. The physiotherapy treatment focused on relieving pain and improving function. The therapy included stretching of the plantar fascia and Achilles tendon, along with exercises to strengthen leg muscles. Additionally, kinesiotape was used as part of the treatment. Throughout the recovery process, a significant decrease in pain intensity was observed, with the patient rating her pain at level 3 on the EVA scale at the end of the treatment. These results support the effectiveness of physiotherapy and the techniques used in managing plantar fasciitis, allowing the patient to regain her quality of life and resume her daily activities. |
